Another splendid yet brisk morning at the Mount Annan Botanical Gardens for the second round of the Mount Annan Duathlon Series. There were 8 athletes from the Scott Endurance Racing Team on the start line all looking to either better their times from the previous round or post a strong time on the tough course. Cathy Tulloh, Hugh Gilberg, Nathan Miller and Alex Ball all brushing up their skills for the World Championships in 2 months time. Cathy and Hugh taking out their
respective categories. Alex Ball raced a fantasically tactical race, heading into T2 with coach, placed 3rd and 4th, ball ran himself into 2nd position and was rapidly gaining on 1st, missing the win by just 9 seconds. In the womens race Erin Hargraves showed that consistency was the name of the game, taking the podium with a strong 3rd place yet again. Chasing her home was Marijke Ralph andnew comer Ashley Thomas who have put Hargraves on notice that they are in striking distance next race.
